Who We Are

Deer Season Is Not When We Start Flying.
It Is When Everyone Else Does.

This story does not really start with a deer. It starts with Maximus, a 14-year-old partially blind diabetic Lab found in a ravine 75 yards from his front door after his family had given up. It runs through summer pet searches in full-canopy July foliage and through fire scenes where a thermal eye overhead keeps a crew chief informed. Four years of year-round thermal operations. Deer season is just November.

The thermal camera does not know the difference between a 140-pound buck in bare November timber and a 12-pound pug in July foliage. We do. That distinction is why you are calling us and not somebody else.

Tom Sherman  ·  Founder, MOV Drone Workz  ·  Reno Volunteer Fire Dept.

When the blood trail runs out and it is getting dark, you have two options. Grid walk it and hope. Or put a thermal drone on a structured grid pattern and know in 20 minutes what two hours of walking might not tell you. Knowing is better than hoping.

Why MOV Drone Workz

Washington County Is Our Primary Response Area.

Wayne National Forest runs right up against the edge of Reno, Ohio. That is our home. When a hunter calls for a recovery, we are not logging miles from Columbus or Parkersburg. We are already here, equipment staged, ready to deploy.

That proximity matters when it is getting dark, temperatures are dropping, and the window to recover your deer is closing fast. Faster response means better thermal contrast, a cleaner search, and a higher chance of recovery.

24/7 Availability during peak hunting season
400+ Acres searched per hour by thermal drone
40F Down to 4 degrees, winds to 40 mph, rain operations

We Find Your Deer

Our M30T thermal drone performs a structured grid search from altitude, detecting heat signatures ground teams cannot see. You watch the thermal feed live on the external monitor we bring on site. We tell you exactly what we find and where.
